How it all began
For over 30 years, Dario and Andreas have been partners—not in a romantic sense, but certainly in the business world. Their "business marriage" has stood the test of time, outlasting most other partnerships. It began before either of them had children and even before gray hair became part of the equation. If you ask them, they’ll probably admit that this is the longest partnership either of them has ever had!
Their shared journey began at Allianz, where they worked in various international insurance sectors, gaining extensive expertise and building a professional bond founded on trust and a shared vision. After decades of developing complex insurance solutions for renewables within the Allianz Group, they took a leap in 2019 and founded Alternative Green Insurance GmbH. Their aim? To specialize in tailored insurance solutions for renewable energy projects in the global market.
Their collaboration proved to be the perfect formula. In just four years, the success and growth of Alternative Green Insurance caught the attention of leading brokerage firms, resulting in its successful integration into the GGW Group. Today, Dario and Andreas continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of Alternative Green Insurance within this new family, ensuring continuity in client relationships and maintaining exceptional service. From youthful ambition to the wisdom of gray hair, the journey of Dario and Andreas is a testament to the power of teamwork, resilience, and the occasional shared laugh.

Rebecca has been working in the insurance sector for over 15 years. Starting with a dual course of studies and continuous further development, she has always been fascinated by the risk management of projects. Since 2017, her focus has been on technical insurances, an area she continuously expands. Renewable energy projects often involve specific risks, ranging from technological challenges to financial losses caused by unpredictable weather conditions. Finding solutions and engaging in constructive discussions with customers inspires her every day.

Paula, originally from Lima and based in Germany for the past 13 years, is passionate about promoting sustainable and green solutions for our planet. While pursuing her M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich, she gained valuable experience in the insurance sector, focusing on renewable assets at Allianz. With expertise in portfolio analysis, Excel evaluations, and claims management, Paula is eager to further expand her knowledge in the industry. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment make her a valuable team member, consistently supporting both colleagues and customers.

With over 20 years of experience, she began her journey with Zurich Insurance, quickly advancing to become a certified insurance specialist and business economist. Ramona has managed complex claims for real estate funds across Germany, gaining a wealth of experience both behind the scenes and in the field.
Her dedication to renewable energy is fueled by her passion for the energy transition, which she sees as essential for Germany’s independence and climate goals.
